It was in incredible 2019 National Specialty for Tyneside curlies.
This years CCRCA National conformation show was held on Sept. 18th and 19th in St. Louis Missouri. The first day was puppy sweeps. Romeo, (Tyneside’s Midnight Romance), won first in his 12 – 18 class. Ari took 2nd in 9 – 12 months and littermate Starla took third. Bella had a nice 3rd place win as well.

On the 19th was the actual Specialty Show. This was the first year for us to be able to show in the Bred By Exhibitor class at the National and we killed it. Romeo Took Second in his very nice class. Bred by bitch was the largest of the classes with 11 bitches in the class.
I showed Miss Bella – Tyneside’s Irresistibly Yours, to the win for first place in Bred By class then we took Reserve Winners Bitch, receiving a 3 point major. It did not stop there as she went on to win Best Bred By Exhibitor at the National Specialty. Bella is owned by Glenda Stephenson, Victor Hewer and Clark Hale. She is out of Candy and Daryl which was our very first curly litter. What an honor to do so well right out of the gate.

Furthermore, Gwen, who is Bella and Romeo’s sister owned by Kari Schnulle and Tyneside, did great placing 2nd in 12 to 18 months class. Ari, owned by Jennifer Kofron and myself, took 3rd in the large Bred By class.
Romeo took a third in Bred By dogs and little Starla, owned by Tom and Sandy Wheeler and Tyneside, also gaited away with a 2nd place in 6 to 9 puppy bitches.
Romeo and Gwen took 2nd in brace this year, shown by Kari Schnulle

Overall an amazing and hugely successful National Specialty for Tyneside Curlies.
